my name is jessica. i am a wife, mom, Christian, daughter, & friend. i am very happy, blessed, and oh so thankful! i used to teach third grade, but now i stay at home with my boys, and i'm a parent's day out director two days a week. . .but our boys go with me! God has led our family to adopt from Uganda. . .so that is what is currently BIG in our lives. . .!! we are so excited. God is amazing, and our story is nothing but HIM! i love (in no particular order. . . ) kissing on my boys, going on dates with my hubby, spending time with my family & friends, my bible, taking pictures, decorating, bargain shopping, pinterest, mallo cups, old windows, white cheese dip, romantic comedies, ice cream, cooking, peonies, crafting, baking, thrift stores & yard sales, going out to eat, missions. . .i could go on and on!

{ HOMESTUDY COMPLETE & fair photo}



so much going on in our lives lately, which has resulted in a {bad blogger}!




school starts back this thursday and there's still tons to do. we're sending off our USCIS application tomorrow. . .which is super exciting, and we are just enjoying this summer and one another as much as possible. . .but we are ready....i'm so ready to head to UGANDA!!!!!!


during prayer time this morning, I prayed it would "come quick."




i've done several fun shoots lately, and even a fabulous mini-session. here's one quick photo. i love shooting these little gals. . .especially since they seemed to have a good time and i caught MANY smiles this year!!!

Hi Jessica!! I'm not sure how I missed your comment on my blog a couple of weeks ago! I'm so sorry!! So exciting to hear from another family adopting from Uganda! Especially with Generations! We just sent in our application to our homestudy agency, hoping to scheudle it soon!! BTW, your pics and your family are gorgeous! I will be following your blog!
